 WhatsApp is on every phone worldwide. Most people only use it for texting . WhatsApp has many features that can make your life easier and you don’t know these features.

I want to share these features with you. Lets learn them together.

1. Message Without Saving a Number

I have a number. I do not want to save it on my phone. Here is what I do.

Open. Any browser and type this: https://wa.me/91XXXXXXXXXX.

Just replace the XX with the 10-digit number. WhatsApp will open directly with that number.

There is no need to add them to your contacts.

I use WhatsApp for delivery guys and shopkeepers. It works great for me.

2. Find Your Half-Written Messages

Ever started typing and got distracted. I do this all the time.

WhatsApp saves it for you. Just open WhatsApp. Look for any chat with "Draft" written in green.

Tap it. Continue where you left off.

Now you will not lose those messages you spent time typing.

3. Hide When You're Online

Sometimes you want to use WhatsApp without everyone knowing right.

Go to Settings, Privacy, Last Seen & Online. Select "Nobody."

Now you can scroll through chats without anyone seeing your status.

Just remember, if you hide yours you also will not see who is online.

4. Read Messages Without Blue Ticks

When a message comes in do not open WhatsApp.

Just swipe down from the top. Read it in the notification bar.

The sender will not see ticks or even double grey ticks.

This is perfect for those moments when you want to read but reply later.

5. Lock Private Chats

If you want to lock the chat,Tap the contact name at the top of that chat.

Scroll down. You will see "Chat Lock." Turn it on.

Now that chat goes to a folder and needs your fingerprint or face to open.

You will not worry when someone borrows your phone.

This is great for bank messages, chats or private conversations.

6. Send Photos That Disappear

Want to share something that will not stay on the persons phone.

Open the chat tap the camera icon choose your photo and tap the "1" icon before sending.

Once they open it the photo disappears forever.

They can not save it screenshot it. Forward it.

7. Make Your Text Look Different

This is fun and easy. Try these.

Type *hello*. It becomes hello.

Type _hello_. It becomes hello.

Type ~hello~. It becomes ~~hello~~.

Just add those symbols before and after your words.

No spaces. Your messages will stand out in group chats.

8. Find Your Biggest Chats

Go to Settings, Storage & Data then Manage Storage.

You will see a list of your active chats and the groups using up your space.

You can also see the biggest videos and photos shared.

Delete the ones and free up space quickly.

9. Reply to One Message in Group Chats

Swipe right if you reply to one message in group chat.

Your reply will connect to that message.

Everyone knows what you are talking about.

No confusion.

10. Mute Groups Forever

Open the group tap the group name at the top tap Mute Notifications and select "Always."

You will still see messages when you open the group.

You will not get constant notifications disturbing your peace.

11. Two-Step Verification

Go to Settings, then Account and then Two-Step Verification.

Enable it. Create a 6-digit PIN. Add your email for recovery.

Now if your card is sealed , your WhatsApp will not open without this pin

12. Send Photos Without Losing Quality

Tap the attachment icon. Choose document instead of camera or gallery .

Select your photo. It will send as a file without any compression.

The photo stays clear and sharp.

13. Save Your Mobile Data

Go to Settings, Storage & Data.

Under "Media Auto-Download," change everything to "Wi-Fi or "Never."

Also turn off "Auto-play videos" in the menu.

Your data will last longer.

14. Create One-Tap Shortcuts for Important Chats

On Android long press the chat and tap "Add chat shortcut."

It appears on your home screen like an app.

On iPhone open the chat tap the contact name, scroll to "Add Widget."

One tap. You are in.

15. Delete Messages After Sending

Long press the message, tap delete and choose "Delete for Everyone."

WhatsApp now lets you do this within 2 days.

After 2 days you can only delete it for yourself.

So act quickly when you make a mistake.

Is backup free?
